La Ricci Leathers started its journey under the present management on 01.06.1994 in Cape Town, South Africa. Since then it has expanded the depth and breadth of its offers and has steadily developed into today's business which caters for the domestic and international markets. It is the recipient of three awards for quality and qualifies as a Level 4 Broad Based Black Empowered Enterprise. In December 2007 S.E.D.A. (Small Enterprise Development Agency of the Department of Trade) nominated La Ricci Leathers to the Swedish Trade Council for taking part in the International Trade Management Program. This training took place from February to August 2008 in South Africa and Sweden, encompassed trade and export related subjects and its end result was an export plan for the following four years of activities.
